WILLOW TREE POLLARDING
Helping landscapes thrive
We work with people and businesses alike to ensure landscapes and gardens are living to their fullest, all year round.
Here we worked with a private land owner to help them create a more useable space, transforming an overgrown area and re-establishing the land for many years to come.
The job included pollarding several willow trees to manage them in a confined space. This practice can significantly extend the life of the tree and create room for light to enter the area and further support growth to surrounding land and vegetation.
While a big job, the impact was even bigger! It enhanced the overall site - making it brighter, lighter and more accessible for further landscaping by the landowner.
We delivered complete site management ensuring safety from start to finish, which included the removal of debris and ensuring all areas worked on were left tidy.
Even better, the wood chip was used after as a bed to put around several other fruit trees which were also pruned back. A sustainable approach we often use to reduce waste and optimise existing features.
